Cahernane House Hotel
Cahernane House Hotel is truly a best kept secret when it comes to weddings.
The entrance to the hotel is framed by a tunnel of greenery which unfurls to reveal the beauty of this imposing manor house, coupled with the magnificent scenery, makes for beautiful photos and precious memories.
You can enjoy exclusive use of the entire house including our 48 bedrooms, or a more intimate celebration for up to 25 guests.
Your Bride & Groom have the opportunity to take their vows in the decadent library or drawing room with open log fires and antique furnishings. Perhaps they prefer to be closer to nature and would like a ceremony in the conservatory or the great outdoors on the grounds of Cahernane’s private estate. With beautifully appointed guestroom accommodation, magnificent views and surroundings and a delectable menu offering, the couple’s nearest and dearest will know they are being indulged.
There is a walking track which runs from Cahernane Hotel right through the National Park where you will see Muckross House and Gardens and Muckross Abbey.

- There are a few options when flying in and out of Ireland to reach Killarney. US airlines fly directly into Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport.
- Flying into Dublin Airport is very popular. If you fly into Dublin, you may take the train to Killarney or a short flight to Kerry Airport. Kerry airport is 15 minutes from Killarney. There are links below to book your transfers. Rail time from Dublin is around 3 hours and 15 minutes and drive times vary. The train from Dublin is very scenic and there is a cafe on board.

TSWED would like our attendees to dress in theme for the Editorial Welcome Dinner & Rehearsal Dinner Shoot. For the Ceremony + Dinner Reception, we'd simply like to advise guests to wear formal attire so that it looks more natural to a "regular" destination wedding! Please review the pictures below for the dress INSPO!
For the non event times the workshop is casual - jeans, boots, sweaters, etc. Brief portions of class time will take place outdoors, so a warm winter coat is strongly recommended. Temperatures will be brisk and possibly – ranging from the high 40’s/low-50s and into the 20’s at night.
Your Portfolio + One-on-One’s
In preparation of your one-on-one time with our expert educators, we will request images and materials from 2-3 events you feel represent you as a wedding vendor, pricing, and branding materials (stationery, website, etc.) to be sent in 30-days prior to the Workshop. We will use these as a springboard for your business to talk about your overall business strategy. Please bring your tablets//laptops to the Educational Moments and one-on-ones.
Travel Plans
Each participating vendor is responsible for their own travel plans. While we highly recommend utilizing the services of Luxury Travel by Britta, each participant should arrive to the venue in a timely manner to make the most of this experience as a group.
